Linda is an abstract painter that currently resides in Richmond, VA. In February of 2021, she survived an almost fatal brain aneurysm. She has been in recovery since March of 2021. For her, painting is a way to escape her reality. When she paints her abstractions, she gets lost in the process and forgets about all the hard work she has had to endure during this recovery.

I have been an Abstract Artist since 2001. About 8 years ago I decided it was time to share my imagination and gifts.
In 1997 I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance & Choreography from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. Art has always been a part of me and I believe I was born to discover myself through many creative endeavors. I've always allowed music, dance, painting, photography, and the culinary arts to be a driving force in my life. When I create my Abstractions I learn new things about life and the world that surrounds me. It allows me to feel a connection to things greater than myself. My art is inspired by the brilliance of nature, architectural design, metaphysics, music, and the mysteries of the universe. My inspiration can also blossom from simpler things like a rainy day, a sudden feeling, a particular song, or even a certain scent. My passion for life shines through my creations. The discovery and possibilities are endless. |
